Antique 10k white gold, diamond, and carved shell cameo brooch/pendant, featuring a large ovoid carved shell cameo of a Classical woman with laurel leaves in her hair and on her shoulder, wearing a wire necklace set with an old European/transitional-cut diamond measuring approximately 2.8 mm in diameter with an estimated weight of 0.10 ct. Presented in a 10k white gold bezel and octagonal frame with filigree and applied leaf decoration. The back has a hinged pendant bail and a yellow gold pin fastener. Clasp marked "10k". Total weight including non-gold components: 11.8 grams. First quarter 20th century. 1 1/2" x 1 7/8" overall.Condition
