An 18k white gold openwork brooch of foliate design, centering an oval mixed-cut pink sapphire weighing 5.03 ct and set throughout with round brilliant-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds estimated at 1.25 ct total, approximately G-I color and VS-SI clarity; the sapphire measures approximately 10.14 x 8.66 x 6.54 mm and is slightly included with a few surface-reaching inclusions. Accompanied by Swiss Gemmological Institute Gemstone Report No. 126649 dated January 23, 2023, stating the sapphire is natural corundum of Sri Lankan (Ceylon) origin with no indications of heating; metal stamped and tested with XRF for 18k gold; pin back; measures 1 9/16 x 7/8 in; gross weight 7.70 g.Condition
