Georgian enameled mourning ring, circa 1823–1824, with gold lettering on black enamel reading "In Memory Of", bordered with hand engraving and accented with white enamel banding. Interior engraved "Hannah Scholey.Ob..22 Mar..1824 Oer.64." With English hallmarks, George IV duty mark, date code 1823, and partial maker's mark "WE". Tests as 22k yellow gold. Ring size 7, width 12.5 mm. Gross weight 11.4 g.
