Set of two vintage brooches circa 1900 comprising: a sapphire and seed pearl brooch set with circular-cut sapphires displaying light medium blue hue with typical inclusions, minor nicks and abrasions under 10x magnification, length 6.0 cm; and an amethyst and seed pearl brooch set with an oval-cut amethyst of approx. 18.20 ct, measuring approx. 23.8 x 18.6 x 8.5 mm, medium purple hue with good transparency and small incipient inclusion to the edge, length 3.1 cm. Total weight 15.5 g. Both with unhallmarked metal testing as 14k and 15k gold, stamped 15 and 15C.Condition
