ANTIQUE 10K AND 14K-18K YELLOW GOLD AND CARVED SHELL CAMEO BROOCHES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a small brooch/pendant by E.L. Spencer Co. of Providence, RI having a 10K gold frame with seed pearls featuring a bust of a woman, pin fastener and hinged bail to back; and a large brooch having a gold frame testing between 14K and 18K gold fineness with a cameo of a Bacchante-type woman having a pin fastener to back. Each marked or tested for gold fineness. Total weight including cameos and pearls: 25.8 grams. Late 19th/first quarter 20th century. Larger example 1 7/8" x 2 3/8" OA.Condition
