A Colombian Chivor Mine emerald and diamond ring featuring an emerald cut emerald, purchased from the Chivor Mine, Almeida Municipality, Boyaca, Colombia in 1970. The emerald weighs approximately 1.37 carats and centers on a cluster of 25 round, baguette, pear, and marquise diamonds with a total diamond weight of approximately 2.00 carats (according to a 1971 appraisal). The diamonds are estimated to be G-H color (pear diamonds slightly more yellow) and SI clarity (opinion, not guaranteed).
