Brooch by Ernst Paltscho, circa 1900, in unhallmarked yellow metal testing as 13k gold, featuring butterfly wing under rock crystal glaze, set with old cushion-shaped diamonds totaling approximately 0.18 ct and circular-cut garnets of bright green hue. Reverse marked BREVETÉ DANS TOUS LES PAYS, pin fitting bears partially struck maker’s mark E.P and possible Austro-Hungarian assay mark. Length 2.4 cm, total gross weight 7.50 g.Condition
