An enamel and gem-set novelty brooch, circa 1968, depicting a stylised dog with a collar and bow. The brooch features polychrome enamel, circular-cut sapphires, and circular-cut rubies set in 18k gold. The reverse of the brooch bears a sponsor's mark RHB within a rectangular cartouche, a Birmingham import mark (triangle), and a date letter 'T' for 1968. The brooch measures 5.0 cm in length and weighs approximately 19.5 grams.Condition
