Gold and platinum flower pendant by Lee Havens, Palm Beach, featuring one oval color-change violet-blue star sapphire weighing approximately 88.53 carats, and 64 tapered baguette diamonds totaling approximately 7.25 carats, graded H-I in color and VS in clarity. The star sapphire displays a color change from violet-blue under fluorescent light to purple-pink under incandescent light, with a strong centered six-legged star. The sapphire is moderately included, translucent, and has good polish, set atop a round gold panel. The pendant is accompanied by an AGL report (no. 1137486) stating the sapphire's Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin, with no gemological evidence of heat or clarity enhancement. Gross weight: 72 g.
