Lorenzo B. Coriz (Santo Domingo Pueblo) Native American silver, turquoise, and oversized squash blossom and jewelry set, comprising five pieces, each set with one or more turquoise cabochons and bear claws, featuring rayed, beaded, twist wire, and stamped designs. The set includes a pair of earrings lacking hooks; a ring with an oversized top set with a turquoise measuring approximately 26 x 14 mm; a cuff bracelet including two carved black, possibly onyx, bear fetishes; and a large squash blossom necklace featuring ten blossoms, each set with a turquoise and a bear claw, alternating with eight oval links, each having a carved bear fetish. The oversized naja has a similar design and is presented on a triple-strand foxtail necklace chain with silver beads and cone ends that lead into a single-strand foxtail beaded chain with a hook-and-eye clasp. The bracelet is etched on the interior band, reading "For: GALE L. Kline / 1975 / By Lorenzo B. Coriz / LC Santo Domingo / ALBUQ. N.M."; the ring is etched "Lorenzo CORIZ"; the earrings are each etched "Lorenzo COREZ [sic]", with one also having writing in black marker. The necklace is unmarked except for black marker writing on the back of the naja. The silver content is of unknown fineness. Total weight including non-silver components: 739.65 g. Reserve.
