Antique Victorian/Edwardian lot of two gold and enameled/inlaid brooches, each having a pin fastener and a watch or pendant hook to the back, possibly mourning jewelry. The lot comprises one enameled brooch featuring poppies, forget-me-not flowers, and wheat, set with nine diamond chips, with an engraved decoration border and a non-gold pin fastener. The other is an oval brooch set with a black cabochon with an inlaid flower design. The enameled brooch is tested as 18k gold fineness and the oval brooch as 14k gold fineness, but both may be heavy gold-plated. Total weight including non-gold components: 14.6 grams.
