Impressive Native American Navajo silver squash blossom necklace featuring sixteen silver blossoms and a central naja pendant with rope twist detail. The necklace has double bench bead strands transitioning into a single strand, secured with a hook closure. The necklace measures approximately 31 in in length, with the naja pendant measuring approximately 4.5 in in height and 3.125 in in width. The total weight is 426 g (inclusive of all materials). Notable for tonal variation/patination, slight bending to flowers, and visible seams at the rear naja tips, consistent with its original creation. Similar example found in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History (Id number: 1996.0209.016).
