A pair of Art Deco platinum drop earrings dating to circa 1930, featuring articulated tapering upper sections suspending oval drops. The earrings are set with circular-cut and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 ct in total, and two oval sapphires measuring approximately 8.6 x 6.4 x 4.2 mm and 8.5 x 6.2 x 4.3 mm, each weighing approximately 1.70 ct, with a combined sapphire weight of approximately 3.40 ct. The earrings have screw-back fittings. Length 5.2 cm each, combined gross weight approximately 9.50 g. A verbal report from GCS states that the sapphires are of Sri Lankan (Ceylon) origin, with no indications of heat treatment.Condition
