18k gold and silver-topped gold bracelet and brooch set with rubies and diamonds, circa 1963. The bracelet composed of foxtail chains with pear-shaped cabochon rubies and old European-cut and old mine-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.35 carats. The openwork brooch centers a cushion-shaped cabochon ruby, surrounded by round rubies and old mine-cut, rose-cut and single-cut diamonds. With Swedish assay marks and maker’s marks. Bracelet length 7 1/4 in, brooch measures 1 5/8 x 1 1/8 in. Rubies slightly included, pinkish to purplish red hue. Diamonds of G-H-I, L-M color and VS-I clarity. Gross weight: bracelet 15.4 g, brooch 11.0 g.
