A late Victorian silver and gold multi-gem brooch from the late 19th century, designed as a bee, with its body set with an oval peridot and a pear-shaped pink topaz measuring approximately 15.5 x 5 mm in a foiled setting, its antennae and openwork wings set with rose-cut diamonds, and its eyes set with cabochon rubies. The wings are incised with an inventory number, and the brooch has detachable brooch fittings. Wingspan 6.1 cm, combined gross weight approximately 15.50 g.Condition
